Her 21 years on the national team is the longest in USA Field Hockey history

3 time member of the USA IFWHA Tournament team

Served as team captain of the USA IFWHA Tournament team (1959)

Vice-captain of touring teams to Australia (1956) and England (1955)

Also had a distinguished career as outstanding lacrosse player

11 time selection to the USA National Team & 5 time selection to the Reserve Team (1940-61)

Founded the Chestnuts and Hillers Hockey Club of the Philadelphia Field Hockey Association

Served on the International Hockey Rules Board (1967-90)

USA Field Hockey honorary Umpire Award and Honorary USA Field Hockey member

Served as chair of the Philadelphia Umpiring Committee

Received the first Golden Zebra Award for Philadelphia Field Hockey Umpiring

Served as President of the United States Women’s Lacrosse Association (1967-68)

Honorary Secretary of the International Federation of Women’s Lacrosse Associations (1983-86) 

Named a Distinguished Daughter of Pennsylvania for her contribution to sports (1987)

Inducted into the Agnes Irwin School Athletic Hall of Fame (2005)

Inducted into the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame (1986)

Inducted into the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame (1994)

Inducted as part of the Inaugural Class of the USA Field Hockey Hall of Fame (1988)
